Identifying Stroke signs can save a life

Stroke is one of the causes of death disabilities in America. Identifying the reasons for stroke may reduce the stroke possibilities and increase improvement in stroke treatment. North Texas stroke education community has made research in listing the signs of a stroke and decrease in stroke rate.

Signs of stroke include:

Balance - should check whether there is a sudden loss of coordination and balance.

Eyes - should cross-check whether the vision is blurred or persistent trouble in vision or double vision.

Face - should check face drooping, by requesting the person to smile.

Arms - should check the person whether he/she is suffering from weakness. Request the person to raise both arms at a time. 

Speech - should check whether the person has a garbled speech or slurred speech. Request him/her to repeat simple phrases. 

Time - should call an emergency helpline so that the person can get medical assistance.

Ways to prevent stroke:

Well, strokes can be prevented with a healthy lifestyle, proper diet, and exercise.
